My Favorite Cold Weather Accessories

Happy Monday! And happy Thanksgiving week. I made it safely back to Connecticut on Friday night, and now I'm literally working from home this week. Saturday I had a much needed hair appointment, Sunday I went shopping in downtown Westport, CT, and today I'm juggling work, blogging, and life at home. Phew!

TBH, the weather here in CT is not that different than Charlotte...hard to believe, I know, but I'm a little underwhelmed by how warm it is! I am ready for gloves and hats and bundling up for winter.

Of course, as soon as the temperature drops under 45 degrees, I'm going to be complaining, so I guess there's no winning here.

Yesterday I found this faux fur headband from Jack Wills and I am OBSESSED. Truly, I don't think I've found an accessory that I've loved more or needed less. It's so extra it hurts, but why not have a faux fur LIGHT PINK headband?

Actually, why not? It's ridiculous and amazing.

I'm also super into the double pom pom look on beanies lately. Trying to find one to try on in person but it looks like ASOS has the best selection. Also, they're all under $30!!

For gloves, these shearling mittens are everything. I don't know why I'm on such a shearling kick lately, but I'm not in any hurry for it to stop. I also think that a pair of techie gloves is completely necessary - let's be real, we're all on our phones anyway, might as well be warm while we scroll through instagram.

Basically, faux fur is the name of the game this year for me, and pretty much any major brand, too. Def not complaining.

  1. I've been seeing the Free People scarf on every fashion blogger's Instagram. I love the scarf, but I'm scared it'll swallow me.
