Obsession: Leopard Print Shoes

Hello everyone. Let's talk about leopard print.

I've always loved animal print, specifically that of the big cat variety. Clothes, pillows, shoes, all of it. It's my favorite because it can really make an outfit fun.

If you want to spice up an all-black or all white outfit, leopard print shoes are the way to go. They're tricky though, because leopard print, done incorrectly, can look really cheap. Done well, however, can totally make an outfit.

Okay, let's start with the basics. For a classic printed flat, there are the Loeffler Randall Milla Flats. The scalloped edges are so dainty! For a little bit of height, I really like the Tory Burch Gigi Pump. I talked about the black and tan Gigi's in my October wishlist post, and the leopard version is super cute. I saw them in person last weekend and they're a great shoe for fall! I also think the Sam Edelman Augustine Mules are really interesting...definitely a great shoe for work.

Last weekend, I found the J. Crew Factory loafers at the local Factory store in Charlotte. First off, that store had some gems (three words: hot pink coat), and I'm super happy I was able to pick up some calf hair leopard print loafers! I have been wearing a pair from Dolce Vita for two years now, and they are actually falling apart. Time to replace them!

J. Crew Factory also had a couple of other leopard print shoe options, including the Zoe Flats. They're a great choice if you don't want to go the typical ballet slipper route.

I think leopard print booties are so cool, and Nordstrom (of course) has some great choices. I've posted about the Vince Camuto Destilly 2 Booties before, and the obsession continues. They don't seem to be too tall, so they could actually be pretty wearable. If you're looking for a shorter heel, go for the Halogen Cade Bootie

I am really eyeing a pair of leopard heels, specifically these pumps from Sam Edelman. Amazing. I honestly can't walk in anything smaller than a block heel for more than 10 minutes, but a girl can dream. For a thicker heel, the Vince Cameo Talise Pump are really cool.

Happy Thursday. I am very ready for the weekend, mostly because I just want to sleep in and not feel obligated to do anything. One more day!
