My Favorite Casual Dresses for Fall

So last week my mom sent my fall and winter clothes down to Charlotte in case it ever decides to get cold here. When I was unpacking, I realized that I only have one dress for fall.

That's right, sweaters and jeans galore, but no dresses.

No rompers or jumpsuits, either. Skirt-wise, I have one denim skirt, then a couple of plaid skirts that are better for the holiday season.

What's upsetting too is that the one dress I currently possess (for temperatures under 75 degrees) is a bodycon mini sweater dress that I've had since my sophomore year of college.

So...this is a problem.

The thing is, I am trying to find dresses that are cute and seasonally appropriate, as well as being cost-effective, and it's hard, y'all! There are the options below in this post, and that's literally it! I may be really picky but if I'm going to successfully restock my closet, I'm going to do it correctly.

A good fall dress can be worn with bare legs and flats or boots, as well as tights and flats or boots. I'm trying to introduce more color into my wardrobe, so thank you BB Dakota for having such cute printed dresses.

The boutiques in my area all have the same merchandise, so I've stuck to Nordstrom, Revolve, Shopbop, and (randomly) Zappos. My favorite items are definitely the BB Dakota Hugh and Kurle dresses, but the Rails Willa Stellar Dress fits the mold as well.

If y'all have any suggestions please send them my way - I love jeans as much as the next girl, but I'm so ready to keep wearing dresses out of the summer season.
