The Spiked Apple Cider That You Won't See Coming

Happy Friday everyone. CANNOT BELIEVE it's going to be October on Sunday. Time is literally flying by and before we know it, it's going to be Christmas. I'm actually super excited for October because my friends and I are going to a music festival one weekend, and at the end of the month two of my best friends are flying down to visit me.

So much time for activities!

While I will not be going out this weekend (so. excited.), last weekend my friend had a housewarming party and made a spiked apple cider that was unreal.

It's officially fall, 'tis the season, so why not have a fall-themed alcoholic apple drink?

Y'all it was so good.

We didn't really follow a real recipe, but here's the general gist.

1 Fifth Smirnoff Green Apple
1 Pint Fireball
2 Bottles Trader Joe's Spiced Cider
1 Apple (Sliced)
Cinnamon Sticks

When I say you could not taste any alcohol, it is an understatement. It was truly difficult not to guzzle this drink in one gulp because it was that good.

I do highly recommend that y'all get the Trader Joe's Spiced Cider. I have a very real love for Trader Joe's, and it's truly the best cider to mix with alcohol. And while I gagged at the thought of drinking Fireball out of college, it really does work well with the drink.

Serve hot, serve cold, doesn't matter, it's so good.

Basically, pour everything in and stir. There was no real craft to what we were doing, as we are still 23 years old and having a non-BYOB party is out of the norm, but I highly recommend making this cider if you're looking for a nice in-theme fall drink.

What is everyone up to this weekend? Hope it's a good one!
