My Favorite Fall Outerwear

It has been in the 80's in Charlotte for the past week, something that I am not too happy about. As soon as it hits mid-September, I want fall. I don't want this 60 degrees in the morning, 85 degrees by noon ish. I want seasons.

I have no idea when it's going to start getting cooler here in the great state of North Carolina, but I am ready for it. In anticipation, I've begun to look at stylish fall and winter outerwear to get in the spirit.

Guys...there are some really cute options out there!

I actually have a BLANKNYC Moto Jacket (something I picked up at last year's Nordstrom Anniversary sale), and I wore it more than expected last year. A black leather jacket is pretty essential, in my opinion, especially if you live in the north.

J. Crew is honestly killing it with their coats and jackets this season. Everyone and their mother has the Downtown Field Jacket, and now this year they have a quilted version. I honestly really like it...I don't think I would need it more than the original version here in the South.

I never really jumped on the whole bomber jacket trend...well, I do have a silver sequin bomber jacket (because that's necessary)...but this velvet bomber from J. Crew is amazing. It's navy, which I'm actually really liking more than if it were in black. For some reason, a black velvet bomber makes me think of a Juicy tracksuit.

Lastly, from J. Crew, this to die for pink cocoon coat. I am in love. I just really like the idea of a pink coat, because honestly it's so out of the ordinary. Everyone I know has the typical black and navy coats. All I want is a cheetah print faux fur coat and something pink.

Also, Zara has stepped up its game. I have never really been a fan of Zara. I know, it's against the blogger's code of honor to not be absolutely obsessed with the store, but honestly I never find anything that looks good on me when I go in because the sizes and fit are so weird

Regardless, their coats are amazing.

First off, the grey Coat with Hood. Soooo chic. Love it.

Second, the Textured Coat. Aka a millennial pink faux fur coat. I AM DYING. Their prices aren't even bad at all either. I know it's the most extra coat ever but I am obsessed.

They also have a leather biker jacket and a classic grey "soft coat." Their options are endless and I really like every single one of them.

Let's be real, I probably won't stray from my Barbour coat, but a girl can dream.

Where do y'all get your fall outwear? Anything cute? Let me know!
