I'm back from Spring Break and I'm honestly questioning why I live in the northeast and not Florida.
For those of you who haven't been following my trip on this blog or my instagram, I spent a long weekend in Naples, Florida with my best friends / sorority sisters from college. There are 7 of us in the group, and we haven't all been reunited since Wake Forest homecoming in October. I'm pretty shocked that we got our acts together and successfully made it to Florida all in one piece!

I only packed black bikinis, and when I wasn't in one of them, I was in a tee and shorts (except for the one night we went out). Very boring fashion on my part, but I included links above to everything I packed, but unfortunately didn't end up wearing.
Real talk though: when you're out in Naples, it's not the time to wear your typical black uniform. Besides my bikinis (which was actually unintentional that they were all black, tbh), I packed a bright blue printed Lilly romper, a turquoise embroidered shift and seersucker off the shoulder top from Vineyard Vines. While I do love my dark colors, it was nice to actually wear something bright and fun.
It's a shame that I'm back in CT now where it's 30 degrees out and I can't really show off my tan. Again, why am I not living on the beach?
My friends and I all met up on Friday morning in Florida, then promptly headed to the beach to make the most of our few short days in warmer weather.
One night we went to dinner (where we were the youngest people), and then ended up going to a nightclub...in Naples. Guys, I don't recommend. Very odd, despite the great music. We were also the most boring 23 year olds because we only lasted like 20 minutes at the nightclub before going home to sleep off the two drinks we had each. We're getting old, y'all.
The next reunion is in the early planning stages. Two of the group live near me in the city, and two more could be moving with me to the city this summer. In a perfect world, we'd all live in houses next to each other on the beach...but we have to be a little realistic.
