Fall is my favorite season for fashion, hands down.

So when the forecast says it's supposed to be in the eighties all week, I can't help but get a little peeved.

September, in my mind, means fall. The day after Labor Day (aka today) should automatically be fall. I'm sick of this hot weather! Give me chillier temperatures and better clothes!

Since this is not the World According to Hannah, and there are definitely at least a few more weeks of "summer" (boo hiss), I just have to pine over the clothes sitting in my closet, waiting to be worn. Here are the items I'm most excited to wear for when the weather stops taunting me.

Black ripped jeans I finally ordered the FRAME Le Rip Jeans. I AM SO EXCITED. I have been obsessed with these jeans for months now, and I am praying that they will look good on me when I finally try them on (let the dieting continue). Black ripped jeans are so cool and perfect for transitioning from end of summer to fall.

Animal print Cheetah print everything. I'm still in love with this bomber jacket (on sale, but still over $200, sheesh), and I'm looking for a good casual/chic animal print coat that's doesn't scream "prostitute." Animal print accents really add a little something!

Leather Jackets It's actually chilly in the mornings and at night, so maybe I'll break out my new leather jacket from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so I don't freeze during my commute! I'll pretty much take any excuse to debut that thing, tbh. Leather jackets are crazy sexy and add instant cool to any outfit. They also take my work outfits from day to night, if I wanted to get drinks or dinner with my friends after work!

Over the knee boots Cannot wait until I can wear boots again! Specially over the knee boots. My dream outfit this fall is a turtleneck sweater dress with over the knee boots. I die. I bought black suede OTK heeled boots last winter that I am definitely wearing a ton this year, but the elastic tie on the back of one of the boots broke, so it's on the top of my to do list to get it fixed! Although we all love the Stuart Weitzman OTK boots, we don't all have a spare $800 to shell out, so you can find cute, inexpensive options at ASOS and Nordstrom

Black Booties Perfect for pairing with dresses, shirts, jeans, black pants, leggings...the black suede bootie does it all. I just found these booties at DSW (low-key such a great place) and I plan to wear them all the freaking time. Otherwise, just go to Steve Madden. No fail.

Turtlenecks I have professed my love for turtlenecks since the beginning of Whimsical Charm, and I fully intend to intensify the love this fall. Get ready for outfit posts, what to wears, the whole shebang. Right now, I'm settling for the perfect sleeveless turtleneck. Great transition piece!

Leather anything, really I always talk about leather jackets. but honestly I'll wear anything leather (been way too influenced by Hook on Once Upon A Time, ya feel me). SO EXCITED FOR MY NEW LEATHER PANTS, I got them in the Anniversary sale to replace my worn and torn leather leggings, but considering it's technically still summer, it's seasonally inappropriate to wear them yet. I also love this leather pencil skirt from ASOS; SO hot. I found a leather and suede peplum top from Lord & Taylor this past weekend that I'm pumped to wear too. So, moral of the story: channel your inner groupie and wear all the leather.

...and really anything black, too As I was making this post, I couldn't help but notice how dreadfully cheery the outfit collage is. Oh well. My days of wearing anything but black have officially ended, and now the only pop of color will be my lipstick. Which leads me to...

Dark lips Thank God for the Kylie Lip Kit! I also found a great NYX liquid lipstick, as well as the Anastasia option (shown above). Pair big lashes (no shadow, just tons of mascara) and dark lips with a sleeveless turtleneck, leather jacket and ripped jeans and you'll be all gucci!

Happy Tuesday!
