Ulta is honestly becoming a dangerous place for me considering I cannot go in there without purchasing at least two things.
I really think it's the whole drugstore + makeup counter type of deal.
Finally it's not disgustingly humid outside, so I can actually wear makeup without the fear that it will melt off by the time I walk out the door. I've also had to rematch products to my skin tone for my paler fall skin.

Okay I literally just bought this today so updates to follow, but this is the Tarte Clay Pot Gel Eyeliner. I've been wearing a lot of black and grey eyeliner lately, and I wanted a change so I got dark purple instead. My eyes are green so this will really make them pop! I also swiped a little bit on my wrist to test out the color, and guys this stuff is 100% waterproof considering I tried to wipe it off and it took like 5 minutes for it to go away. Ohhhh yeah.
This used to be my go-to drugstore conditioner, but it kind of went off my radar for a year or two. If y'all are in need of a cheap, really effective conditioner, go for the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner. I chose the "Strong" version (bc I need my hair to grow 4 inches like now), but there's also moist, smooth, shine, and color.
The Naked Skin Weightless Coverage Concealer was on my August makeup wishlist, and I finally bit the bullet (slash had a shopping binge) and bought it.
It's great...definitely lives up to the hype. It's super brightening (I also purposely bought it really light for that reason), and is very creamy and natural. However, I don't wear it for a daytime look. It's much better when I pair it with matte foundation and do my full face highlight/contour/bronzing/powdered whole shebang type of deal.
Working on a way to replace my favorite Chanel lip liner (aka looking for a cheaper option, ja feel) so I'm trying out different lip liners to match my own lip color. I just bought the NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner in Cannes, and it's pretty darn close!
Lastly, during the humid week from hell, I went to the MAC store in Grand Central in a moment of pure desperation to find a face product that would stay put. I had never bought anything from MAC before, and had always wanted to, so I finally had the perfect opportunity! All the beauty vloggers I follow are obsessed with MAC and the matte, long wear look is definitely something that comes to mind when I think of the brand.
I chose the Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation. The makeup artist helping me matched my skin tone on the spot (saved me a lot of time trying on the different options), and I learned that a little goes a long way. Also, since the weather has gotten so much more manageable, I now only wear this foundation when I go out (with the Naked concealer from above!).
