T-minus 36 hours until I'm on my flight to Mexico! Pray for me, y'all. Packing for this was tricky because I couldn't decide whether I wanted to check a bag or just take a carry-on. My trip is six days, five nights and I really planned on wearing swimwear for most of it. I've also never been on a true "spring break" before, aka one that requires going out clothes, rather than just pretty dresses and bikinis. I am crazy excited, especially to be at the beach, but also because right after Cancun I'm flying home to Connecticut! That's a drastic change in environment but it'll be a nice little rest.
Bikinis (4-5) Really depends on if you want to repeat bikinis. I don't really plan on it. You can't go wrong with a classic LBB (little black bikini), a neon suit, and a printed suit.
Coverup (1-2) I have a new coverup I'm super excited to wear, but I'm on the hunt for a lacy one. Natasha Oakely and Devin Brugman just paired with Wildfox for some new coverups, so maybe they'll be the one!
Rompers (1-3) I'm beginning to prefer rompers over dresses.
Dresses (1-3) The amount of dresses and rompers your bring really depends on what you plan on doing. Considering I really don't know what I'll be doing besides being in the sun, I'd rather be safe than sorry and overpack (slightly).Going Out Tops (2-3) Bring one more than you think you'll need because there's always the chance that you'll get to your destination and have one of those "I have nothing to wear" moments.
Crop Tops (1, maybe 2) With high waisted shorts or a bandage skirt for going out.
T-Shirts (1-3) Classic white always. Sorority shirts, too.
Denim Shorts (1) I prefer high waisted.
Lace Shorts (1) So cute, so summery, I want the Abercrombie ones shown above so much.
Skirts (1-2) For going out.
Jeans (1) I guess?
Sandals (1) Choose a pair that's comfortable!!
Wedges (1) Not your nice wedges. Something you can walk in and don't mind getting roughed up.
Tote For all your beach accessories.
