It's officially spring, even if it's still snowing in Connecticut and it's 37 degrees in North Carolina. We've been blessed with very sunny weather, although the past couple of days have been deceivingly cold. Time to break out lighter clothing and start changing your makeup routine!
If I'm going to be completely honest, I really don't like spring. It's "will they, won't they" season where you really never know what the weather is going to be like. Summer and fall is where it's at, and probably the only redeemable parts of spring are spring break, looking tan (for at least a little while) after spring break, and spring clothes.
BB Cream + SPF More time in the sun means switching up your skincare routine to wear lighter foundation with SPF. I like wearing BB cream that has added SPF.
Bucket Bag What's a better excuse for a new purse than a new season?
Cable Knit Sweater Preferably one that's loosely knit. It's better for layering and can be worn more casually.
Choker Necklace Long live the 90's. Good for when you're layering necklaces or just want to wear one on it's own. Shopbop has a ton of cute options.
Denim Jacket It's not warm enough to leave the house without an extra layer, but not cold enough that you need an actual coat. Here comes the denim jacket. I bought mine from Gap a couple years ago, and it has never failed me.
Floppy Hat I'm determined to finally wear mine! Check out places like Nordstrom and Revolve for inexpensive choices.
Romper How cute is this romper? You can really wear them three out of four seasons, and it's finally warm enough to break them out again.
Self Tanner To keep up the tan that we all got over spring break, there's St. Tropez. Easily the best self-tanner out there.
Strappy Sandals I'm really trying to find a good gladiator sandal for the season, and there are so many options on Revolve. The bright color shown above is so fun!
Striped Shirt Super classic and really easy to find. Madewell and J. Crew always carry a great selection of striped shirts.
Sunglasses Can't get away from Illesteva. I love the tortoiseshell glasses.
