lifestyle + weekend recap 1/4

This is literally a post about the different food I ate this weekend, masquerading as a "weekend recap" post. I am currently in the middle of nowhere driving down to North Carolina, so this past Saturday and Sunday were my last two days of an actual winter break until....who even knows when. This weekend was filled with shopping, primping, and just general getting everything together in order to pack my itty bitty car with all my clothes and shoes to take back to school.

Read more and see pictures after the jump!

On Saturday, my mother and I went to the mall to find fun new pieces to wear for the spring semester. Everything ended up being grey, camel, black, or navy (obviously I like color) but I love everything we bought! We then drove to Ridgefield, CT to go to Bareburger, an organic burger restaurant, for brunch.

What's brunch without a mimosa?

Obviously my mother enjoys pictures.

Bareburger, besides having great burgers, has really good milkshakes to pair with your meal.

I wasn't really feeling a burger, but thankfully Bareburger had options for brunch, including avocado toast. Yum yum yum it was great. I always feel healthy when I have avo toast, which was the goal.

Of course, to counterbalance the toast, we had to get french fries.

Saturday night I met up with my two best friends from high school to get dinner at one of my favorite places in New Canaan, CT, Tequila Mockingbird.

Sunday was spent getting ready to drive back to school. I didn't feel like I even brought that much back to Connecticut for break, but judging by the amount of bags that are now in my car, I was obviously wrong.

For lunch, my family and I went to Centro in Fairfield, CT. I had grown up going to the location in Norwalk but since it closed, we just started going back to the one in Fairfield.

Guys 0 exaggeration this was the best ravioli I've ever had. Psycho obsessed with this stuff. It's chicken and cheese ravioli with a roasted red pepper cream sauce oh my goodness gracious I die it's so good.

All in all it was a great weekend and Christmas break, but I'm super excited to get back to school for my last semester. Rush starts on Thursday so I'll be pretty busy until next Monday (Bid Day!), but I'll really try to post regularly this week!
