I survived Mountain Weekend...and I'm low key depressed it's over. Unfortunately I took a total of two pictures while I was in Gatlinburg, and they were both sub-par, so I won't be doing a post on the weekend's festivities.
However, this week is super fun because formal is on Friday! I'm also leaving for Thanksgiving break early (my classes were cancelled) so I'll be on a flight bright and early Saturday morning - I can promise y'all right now I will not be a happy camper 7 am the morning after formal. I am excited to go home though. I love Thanksgiving food and I'm ready to get off campus again.
Since Thanksgiving break is filled with events like seeing family and meeting up with hometown friends, there are lots of opportunities for pictures and cute outfits. I know that my brother and I have to take our Christmas card picture, meaning I'll definitely need to find something ~fall, fun and flirty~ to wear. Here are some of my favorite outfits for Thanksgiving break.
blanket scarf | hat | jeans | turtleneck | skirt | 5050 boots | dress | vest | boots | sweater | leggings | booties
Outfit One HOW COOL IS THIS BLANKET SCARF. I wore one for the first time last week, but I'm loving this version from Abercrombie. Buffalo plaid is bae. I also have this exact hat from Nordstrom and will definitely be breaking it out next week.
Outfit Two If y'all are having Thanksgiving with family, this is the outfit to wear. A little plaid skirt paired with a larger turtleneck is comfortable and stylish. Can't forget the 5050 boots...wear them more than any of my other boots.
Outfit Three Literally brought to you by Abercrombie...a simple dress with a fur vest, you can't go wrong. I prefer Tory Burch tall boots but I really like the pair shown above by J. Crew.
Outfit Four I would wear this in a heartbeat. This sweater by Madewell has a zipper in the back! It's so cool! Leather leggings are badass AF and I really like the motorcycle inspired touches. I'm also really leaning towards flat black booties. I don't know how good they would look on me but they'd be great with this outfit!
